TRIP CATALOG

New York, Wednesday Nov 4 to Friday Nov 6

With the prep days in Nanticoke from Monday Nov 2. Every project, idea and meeting of the trip.

Two prep days in Nanticoke cleared the house and the board (oil in, half cord stacked, backyard hauled, 121 stale tasks closed, Art called, Pier 60 re-planned). Wednesday he drove in, checked into the DoubleTree Newark, took a surprise Montefiore interview from the road, and that night pulled the 1978 Honda Hawk out of Pier 60 on the only dry night, with Anita. Thursday was the business day: the Zach Zoom turned SSM into a plan (YouTube channel, Lessons and Carols Dec 12, invoice now), the resume went to Victor Kim and was sent up to leadership, lunch with Seth, both phone parts collected at Box 272, Chelsea galleries in the afternoon, and Colin Moran's talk to young Catholic entrepreneurs in the evening. Friday: checkout, phone fixed at Faycal, storage unit inspected after a water notice, the Gates meeting at Notre Dame (finish, change orders, the check), the Brass Center bolt order set up, Chelsea galleries again, and dinner at "Grandma's" at 6:30 PM. At 2:52 PM he decided not to drive to PA tonight; BDNY (Javits, Sun Nov 8 and Mon Nov 9) is open as an option.

Mon Nov 2, Nanticoke

  1. Modular powder-coated firewood rack, flat-ship kit, high end (East Hampton), sold through designers and firewood delivery drivers (diner, Thu 3:37 PM).
  2. Prismatic or iridescent powder-coat pieces, rose gold, for the East Hampton market (lunch Thu; galleries Thu).
  3. A new design using prismatic paint, render shown at the Gates meeting (Fri).
  4. Ask Colin to let him design a rose window (call with Anita, Fri 5:03 PM).
  5. Motorcycle hauling as a paid service, about 500 a bike (Pier 60 night, Wed).
  6. Package the AI operating system as an installer for construction management; have a Fiverr developer pressure-test it (lunch with Seth, Thu).
  7. A small gallery night upstairs at the Nanticoke shop (diner, Thu); the CEO's gallery and event room task is the same thread.
  8. A chant YouTube channel "like a meditation" with a dummy-head ambisonic mic, and a Christmas carols video (Colin's event, Thu).
  9. An SSM commercial, produced and billed (call with Anita, Fri).
  10. Chelsea photo retrospective and a timestamp match between gallery photos and recordings for chelseaguide.art (Thu 5:04 PM).
  11. A location history pipeline from Google Timeline to triangulate photos and places (chat, Fri 5:57 PM; sent to the CIO 6:08 PM).

The Scheduler's observations, not Robert's statements.

  1. Colin is the hub for SSM, Gates and the Catholic network. He sponsors the School of Sacred Music, chairs First Things, restores Catholic art and architecture, and runs a December program. The rose window idea, the chant channel, the Lessons and Carols launch and the Hallow lead all meet in his email (task for Sunday).
  2. One powder-coat chain, three products. Michala at NIC / Prismatic, the gates' bronze finish, the firewood rack, the rose-gold pieces and the new prismatic design all draw on the same vendor and the same finish knowledge Robert is paying to learn on the Gates job.
  3. The SSM camera kit is in a leaking unit. The Friday inventory (Z6 II, ZR, Zoom F3 and F6, cards, drives) is the SSM recording kit, and the storage unit took water from rain. That links the storage task to the Dec 12 shoot.
  4. The Ellenville open house is one trip with three uses. Aaron's Nov 14 event touches Owner's Rep (passive-home builder), Job Search and Jason Tanzer, and Robert floated riding the motorcycle there.
  5. Weiss.press is the publication layer for all of it. web.weiss.press (all domains), nyc.weiss.press (this catalog), the existing index.weiss.press task (all publications), last-night.weiss.press and chelseaguide.art are the same index problem at different scales; the CIO can build them from one source.
  6. The PR agency owner's equity-for-services model fits the firewood rack and Weiss.press launches, and the CEO already drafted Robert's PR bio Thursday night.
  7. The location pipeline serves chelseaguide.art and the photo archive. Time and place from Timeline plus photo timestamps answers "which gallery was this" and "where was Grandma's" the same way.
  8. BDNY (Sun Nov 8, Javits) is a hospitality design fair: Pioneer Millworks invited him, and the CEO suggests Sunday only for owner and developer contacts, which overlaps Owner's Rep and the powder-coat products.
  • Gates: invoice Fr. Heasley Mon; color choice to Michala; new rendering; lock in the powder coater; field measure; bolt order next week; Maciej paid once the check clears.
  • SSM: invoice built over the weekend, sent Mon; Bennett loop Sat; call Zach Nov 12.
  • Colin email Sun. Ellenville decision before Nov 14. BDNY decision.
  • Text feed gap: no texts reached the feed after 12:21 PM Fri; the phone's SMS backup needs a look.
  • The gate photos were shown at the cathedral while the parish contact called the project a surprise; worth keeping in mind before the unveiling.

No source says where he ate on Jan 14 at 8:14 PM. The lead: on Thu Jan 15, 9:44 PM, Robert asked Anita by phone "what time does a Korean place close ... Grandma's" for a late snack near their hotel (Cube ACR call recording). Jan 14, 6:51 PM, he described a new two-floor Korean and American supermarket where Jack's 99 cent store used to be (call recording). Tonight's 6:30 PM dinner is at Grandma's, so the name and address can be read off the sign or the receipt.

Day wraps for Nov 2 to Nov 5; the Nov 5 current state; Scheduler checkpoints of Nov 6; 16 Fireflies recordings Nov 4 to Nov 6 read in full; Cube ACR calls Nov 5 8:43 AM to Nov 6 6:02 PM; SMS feed to Nov 6 12:21 PM; email export to Nov 6 5:19 PM ET; Todoist activity Nov 5 11:45 AM to Nov 6 3:45 PM. This page leaves out health, therapy, money figures, card data, third parties' private details and private texts.
